In a historic decision, High Court judge Yew Jen Kie ordered the Election Commission to re-publish their notice for re-delineation as she agreed with the application by PKR’s See Chee How and Pauls Baya. The decision was delivered on the 15th of May, 2015.

This means that EC can either appeal the decision or to re-publish with the electoral roll, the list of proposed changes and the areas affected so the public would know how they would be affected by the redrawing.  She said the failure of the EC to publish the notice in detail had breached the requirements spelt out in the constitution.
